just a little more
one more quote from the Ovation Recommended production of Everything Will Be Different. i know it closed in November but I'm just reading the reviews now...
"Alana Dietze (Charlotte) carries the weight of this universe on her waifish shoulders. A riveting vulnerability flashes through an apathetic teenage facade, and what begins as humorous idiosyncrasy becomes a sad mask hiding an unbearable pain. This transformation is devastating. Everything Will Be Different is a stirring character study of this very specific person and the collaboration of playwright, director and actress makes us care about her." -- Andrew Moore, Mad Theatrics Stage Blog

must. see.
please come to this show.
"fearless"
"Dietze fully inhabits Charlotte's spiky persona, daring to risk alienating us before exposing her pain..."
-- the LA Times
--Tony Frankel LA Stage and Cinema
"Alana Dietze, as Charlotte, gives a stunning performance." -- Curve Wire

I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW EXCITED I AM FOR THIS PLAY
i love it. i love it. i love it. and i think you will too. please come to this. please pretty please please please.you may remember a posting about a public reading of this way back when: http://www.alanadietze.com/2009/07/everything-will-be-different.html
wellll this time it's the real deal. and i fall a little more in love with this play and everyone involved in it each day
i play charlotte - a teenage social outcast of sorts who deals very very poorly with the loss of her mother. the play is a dark, slightly deranged comedy. heartbreaking and hilarious and bleak and hopeful.
